Friends, our next (socially distanced) bush restoration is taking place tomorrow morning. See below for what you'll need to bring.
Hope to see you then! Saturday 21 November 9.30am—12.30pm
We will be working with Covid19 restrictions. Please bring your own secateurs or loppers and pruning saw as we will not be supplying or sharing tools. We will supply the dabbers only. We will have hand sanitiser on hand. Meet at the Main Gate. We will be working in area 10 and 11, checking for woody weeds and weed seedlings coming up. Snakes have now become active. Make sure you wear sturdy shoes, long pants, long sleeves, and gloves. The best protection is to wear snake gaiters, available from outdoor stores. Please bring water and your own morning tea. Event will be cancelled if raining or Total Fire Ban. We are excited to say that we can start our Bush Restoration mornings after months of not being able to. It will be great to get together with friends and work in our beautiful Bushlands. This Sunday 21st June we will meet at 9.30 in the main, middle car park on Glenfern Road and we hope you can join us. However things aren't quite back to normal so there are just a few changes to our routine. You must not attend if you have any of the slightest symptoms of COVID-19. Please bring your own gloves, drink and snack. You must observe the 1.5m rule. If it is raining, the Bush Restoration morning will be cancelled and we will let you know via email and Facebook. UPDATE: Working bees cancelled at Glenfern due to COVID-19. To be on the safe side, the committee have come to the decision to cancel all working bees until further notice. Working bee this Wednesday 4th March, 9-11am. Hope you can come. It's always enjoyable with good company, beautiful Bushlands to be in and a great morning tea.
