Bush Restoration Morning Wednesday 1st July 9-11am

Our Bushlands are looking beautiful at the moment so why don't you come along and enjoy them as well as doing a little work to improve them even more?

Meet us at the main, middle car park and we will walk to the amphitheatre where we will be doing a little weeding, removing sleeves and stakes, as well as whipper-snippering. We also plan on whipper-snippering around the main entrance and rock wall so if you have a whipper-snipper it would be great if you could bring it along.

Please bring gloves, snack and a drink.

Bush Restoration Photos, June 2020

We had the pleasure of returning to the bushlands on the weekend to remove the weeds that have taken residence over the past twelve months. 

We worked in areas 2 down through 12, which afforded us views of the city and grasslands, as well as riparian forest and Ferny Creek. 

Thanks to those who attended and welcome to those whose first time it was working with our Friends Of group. 

Glenfern Valley Bushlands really is a special place, that's provided a welcome sanctuary for people desiring to connect with nature, or stretch their legs during this isolating time.

Upcoming: Bush Restoration, 21 June 2020

​We are excited to say that we can start our Bush Restoration mornings after months of not being able to. It will be great to get together with friends and work in our beautiful Bushlands.

This Sunday 21st June we will meet at 9.30 in the main, middle car park on Glenfern Road and we hope you can join us.

However things aren't quite back to normal so there are just a few changes to our routine.

You must not attend if you have any of the slightest symptoms of COVID-19.
Please bring your own gloves, drink and snack.
You must observe the 1.5m rule.

If it is raining, the Bush Restoration morning will be cancelled and we will let you know via email and Facebook.
