A few people have suggested that Glenfern arrange some small bush-walks. We are going to give it a try.
The June walk will be on Wednesday 21nd June starting at 10 am from the Glenfern main gate. We will open the Glenfern car park so there will be easy parking.
The walk will be down through Glenfern, across the grounds of the Archery Club and then down along Ferny Creek beyond the retarding basin. We will explore the new reserve created after the subdivision of the Green Wedge. See the map.
It's an easy walk - should take around 90 minutes - see map. We can have a cuppa at the end of the walk.
