We are feeling quite satisfied as this morning we ticked many things off our Area 1 to-do list.
✅Repaired entrance path
✅Whipper-snippered the embankment
✅Weeded thistles, blackberries, euphorbia and nightshade etc
✅Cut off the flowering heads of Purpletop to stop seeding
✅Re-staked the little Yellow box trees that we planted a few years ago - they have survived the harsh weather and are looking good
✅Picked up the never-ending rubbish that gets dumped
✅Removed the old sleeves and stakes from previous plantings
Our two hours work was followed by delicious morning tea and a good yarn around the picnic table. Thanks everyone.
